This design i have drawn trying to keep in mind the front covers of other rock magazines as they have pictures at a healthy size and i have decided to have a picture of a band and i drew the way i thought they would look in the centre of the magazine were you can see it clearly.I have choosen to use cirlce and star shaped for buttons as they will get the readers eye.The image on the cover will also be a medium shot so you can see the bands body language/ facial expressions and clothing to get an insight of how there lifestyle is and what type of people they are making the reader more comfortable if they can relate to the band.
Theres a small collumn on the left hand side for anchors and other features to grab the attention of the reader and drew them into buying the magazine. There will also be freebies on the bottom page in the star shaped designed which will make the reader feel as if he/she has got alot for there moneys worth.
I had wrote the masthead SKRINGG to see how it would work on a magazine cover and tried to copy the type of fonts i am using for the cover and it seems to have gone well with the page and works i also went with the term of simplisity as i am trying to keep all my content displayed nice and organised with enough space on the page so the reader can understand and navigate quickly.
