i had to keep the gender similiar as i want my magazine to appeal to both genders of the rock faith and so i can have an idea of what both genders want and incorporate all the ideas in to my own and make an magazine for every one to enjoy.
I needed to know what age group the people who were taking my questionaire where as i could relate it to my age group as i am trying to reach out to the ages of 11 - 19 with my magazine as i would like the younger generation to get into the rock genre and litsen to it/ read my magazine.
I needed to find which colours people think would go best with my magazines so i asked them which colours they feel go best with rock magazines and the results where that black , red and blue where the highest ranking and this was an open question any colour could have been choosen but these three were the highest ranked so i will be using these colours somehwere in my magazine as it will attract readers.
The question on which rock genre magazines people think is the best was a good question for me as i could see what people thought of them and then have a look at the best rated magazines for the best ideas and for influence on how my magazine will turn out and how well it will do with others.Magazines NME and Kerrang where both the highest rated with the same votes each and i has analyised these two magazines so this is very good as i have an insight on the two magazines and can recreate some features/ methods to my own magazine.
The question above i asked on how much people were willing to pay for an rock magazine so i could know what prices i should price my magazines the results showed that more people where willing to pay 3 - 4 pound rather then 5 - 6 and 1 - 2 also 7 and more which shows cheapest isnt always the best as sometimes people may think the quality is reflectd on the price it has to be a reasonable price not to expensive and not to cheap so it creats a good image about itself.
I had asked this question about the stereotypes that come to mind when thinking of rock magazines and the most common where wild, Loud and Hardcore so i will incorporate these results into my magazine as the audience believe these are the most common stereotypes in a rock magazine.
This question was about which types of font will be used as the information article type font which the content will be in and its clear that the audience who had taken this questionaire had thought Arial and Calibri body was the top rated and best i would agree with this as they are clear to read and would work well with the pictures and headings and colours.
