Final Copy
I choose to use this layout for my perlimenary task front cover as i was trying to get through to the teenagers and make them buy this monthly magazine so i designed the page with all sorts of turns and none of the boxers are straight as i was trying to refelct on teenagers lifestyles as how they are carefree and wild and young and do most of the things they choose this magazine is not pefect its messy , wild and careless i hoped this would make the readers feel comfortable and be able to relate to the magazine and the content available inside making them want to get all the issues month after month.
FONT – This font is the main font I will be using as it’s the same font that’s used on the school letters for Heston. It is not too formal and this is good thing because it will attract students to read the magazine as it’s supposed to represent the lifestyle of teenagers rather than being to formal and causing students to believing that it’s not aimed at them and therefore not reading it.

The above font can be used as the main title font as it has a nice little twist to it and it’s also easy to read and isn’t too formal or informal.

The colour scheme i would like to use is mostly a vibrant varity of colours that stand out and most attracts teens such as blues, reds, pinks, yellows etc... The connotations of all these bright and eye catching colours is that it reflects teenagers lifestyles and how their carefree and colours can also reflect moods such as bright colours showing happiness.The colour scheme helps attract the younger generation that i am aiming this magazine for.
The layout of the magazine will be all over the place with diffrent shapes and angles to reflect the lifestyles of teenagers this will also appeal to them as they feel it reflects there characteristics. It must also look funky and fun so it stands out from the other regular magazines and makes people want to buy it.
One story i will be including in my magazine would be on drugs and alchol and how children around the ages from 13-19 get peer pressured to take them when they might not know it affects there educational achievement and shouldnt be used.Another story i will include inside is about upcoming exam results and countdown till exams, I will also be including a story on the local community and how some shops are selling products at outrageous prices when they are out of date and have no quality causing food poisioning to others.
On the front cover of the magazine i will have a picture of either two people in a mid-shot with both students in the shop confused about why the value of the products are so high when there is not any quality at all. Or i will have a mid-shot of a student standing behind pieces of art work showing the skills of Heston as it specializes in Art.

My specific target Audience is teenagers of the age between 13 - 19years of age as the magazine is going to be on what is happening and available to the students of Heston Community school also what is going on with the local community and their environment have also decided to target this age group as I am 17 and can relate to certain situations and know what my target Audience would find interesting and what they would want to read.
I hope the style of this magazine to be slick , funky and trendy with an element of messiness to reflect the lifestyle of teenagers , This will show that the magazine could relate to them and the content inside will be what they want to read.
The purpose of my magazine is to entertain but also to inform students of Heston about the things they don’t get time to find out about also it gives them something to interact with each other about. The content will reveal to them upcoming events reviews on how other events where and the local community.
The magazine will be distributed once a month as this will make sure people buy them as they have been waiting a while for it and it will be filled with a lot of information as in a month many events and things could have taken place. As its monthly it will also attract more people as if they miss it they will have to wait a month for the next issue.
